3. Not using keywords in your application: Always include keywords such as the requisite skills and experience indicated by the employer, and your correct bio data.


4. Not possessing the right skills: Always re-invent yourself while waiting for that job offer, there are a lot of courses both online and offline, that might equip you with skills that will give you an edge over other candidates.


5. Poor CV structure and content: Typographical errors in contact details and poor CV structure are major causes of candidate disqualification. Make sure every word in your CV is selling you to your potential employer.
